Holiday Gift Guide: Best Coffee Table and Lifestyle Books
It’s the time of year when we are all thinking about the special gift we want to share with a loved one in our lives. Books are a great gift for any age and has the ability to also add visual interest and conversation pieces to the decor around your home. As a child, I remember the joy in unwrapping books at Christmas and I still get excited about receiving a new book, especially one with a dual purpose of meaningful, inspiring content which can be set out on display when I’m finished! Over the years I have curated a collection of some of my favorite coffee table books which provide a simple way to reflect my style and interests while adding in a design element that is low effort.
My favorite way to display books is to stack two together to add height to a space and adding a decorative object to sit on top for additional interest. I select and pair the books by both title and color to ensure a cohesive flow of design as a small vignette. I buy most of my books at Target online or in the store and usually can catch a sale which makes it easy to add to my collection! Throughout the year I will change up the items on top of the books to add a seasonal element to the space and tend to keep these small changes to the entryway and living rooms. I’ve already started working on my holiday decor and you can read in this post why I think it’s key to start early. Below is a sneak peek of this year’s living room space and the books I have out on display year round with a few simple holiday items to bring in the festive vibe.
The great part about each of the books I’m sharing today is not only do they make a great display, which sets powerful intentions within the book titles to encourage a meaningful lifestyle, they are also informative books with eye catching photos and tips for how to curate a life you love. I’ve shared below a list of the favorite books I have out in our living room spaces which I highly recommend to purchase as a gift for anyone on your list or buy a few for yourself to add to your collection.

Gift giving during the holiday season can be overwhelming and easily create stress during a time of year when we look to celebrate the feeling of peace and joy in our lives. I have found the gift of a book is an easy and meaningful way to infuse new knowledge into our brains and decor into our space. If you gain at least one new piece of information while reading a book and the gift keeps on giving as it sits out in your living space once you are done enjoying it’s content, you have a win-win situation. I have a few new books on my list for this year and look forward to gifting a few of my favorites to family and friends during this holiday season. I hope you found a few ideas here and take the time to devour a good book to inspire you in the near future. Set it out on a shelf when you are done and enjoy filling in space on a shelf with a meaningful item.
Cheers!
